UCFS Health Center

The eight-year-old UCFS Health Center is beyond capacity.
In the past three years alone, the Health Center has gone from 34,590 visits annually to over 42,000. Our calendar year ending in December 2006 had in excess of a half million dollars in uncompensated care — quality care that we proudly delivered despite this lack of compensation.
To reduce the current waiting list and meet future community growth, considerable renovation and expansion of the Health Center is needed.
$2.5 million of the $3 million in resources required to complete construction will be achieved through State bonds and prudent use of limited endowment funds.
We are seeking to raise the balance, $500,000 from the community.
Your support of the UCFS Health Center will help your neighbors and co-workers live healthier lives; will keep school-age children thriving and in the classroom; provide regional employers and their employees with timely care and preventative health services and assure seniors find the support and advice they need from accessible, compassionate geriatricians.
