The main purpose of this role is to perform child behavioral health assessments using age appropriate screening tools as required by the State of Connecticut Department of Children & Families (DCF). The Clinician will also distribute materials, score and enter findings, coordinate activities and perform related administrative duties. This position is 20 hours per week, the schedule is flexible and there is minimal to no travel.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree Clinician with State of CT L.C.S.W. License
- 2 – 4 years experience in conducting behavioral assessments, client screenings and similar with underserved and uninsured children and families
- Strong conceptual, interpersonal, client assistance and coordination skills required, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with MS Office applications required for data entry and data base and/or file maintenance

Description
The main purpose of this role is the cost effective coordination and delivery of all activities & services of the UCFS School Based Dental Program.
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred with at least 1 year of Human Service and/or Oral Health field experience

Lead Dental Assistant
Description
The main purpose of this role is to assist our dentists in the direct provision of dental care and the efficient daily operation of the dental clinic and to provide varied administrative support to the Dental Director. To assist our dentists in all operative procedures by; preparing operatory, seating patient, exposing and developing radiographs, assisting Dentists chair side utilizing fourhanded dentistry, taking impressions for study models and pouring models.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school, or 6 months - 1 year directly related experience and/or training
- Certification for Radiology in the state of CT and current CT Driver's License
- Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills, in addition to working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Internet and email

Behavioral Health Services
MSS Clinical Coordinator
Brief Position Statement
The main purpose of this role is to be the service link between children served, their family, DCF and the Managed Service System team of community providers. The Coordinator in collaboration with Willimantic DCF will assess the clinical and environmental needs of DCF involved children in residential settings, psychiatric hospitals, safe homes and shelters. They will develop both a treatment and a service plan and broker & align resources and services.
Qualifications
- Masters degree required: MA/MSW/MFT
- Minimum of 3 years of related professional mental health/psychiatric experience, to include clinical bio-psychosocial assessment, coaching/counseling, intervention, collaboration and writing skills
- Off-site travel and schedule flexibility required
- License, knowledge and/or experience working with juvenile courts, Dept. of Mental Health & Addictive Service and Dept. of Developmental Disabilities extremely helpful.

Reconnecting Families Workers – 6 New Grant Positions available
Brief Position Statement
The main purpose of this position is to provide in-home reunification casework to families involved with the Department of Children & Families. This exciting new program includes in-home coaching and mentoring of parents whose children have been removed for various reasons. It will also involve reunifying children with their families.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related
- 1 – 3 years of related professional experience providing community based services to children and/or families

Family Based Recovery Clinician

The main purpose of this role is to provide home based services in parenting skills, parent-child attachment, assessments and support to parents and children, as well as substance abuse recovery.

- Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience in child development and child/family services

Bilingual Parent Aide Caseworker
Brief Position Statement
The main purpose of this role is to provide home based services to bilingual families throughout New London County. The Caseworker will teach positive parenting and child development.

- 1 - 3 years of directly related professional experience and proficiency in both written and oral Spanish and English
- Experience in working with families in recovery, community resources, child abuse, domestic violence and mental health issues preferred

2 Early Childhood Mental Health Partners
Brief Position Statement
The main purpose of these positions to work with and develop further an exciting new program providing early childhood development resources to children ages birth – 5, their families, educators, childcare agencies and community providers. They will work in the home and community providing child assessments, family therapy, and referrals. This is an opportunity to “THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX” with service delivery.

The main purpose of this role is to provide nursing coverage for UCFS Adult Day Centers as needed. The RN/LPN will monitor the physical status of our clients, administer medications and treatments, and maintain client documentation working within program goals and objectives.

Position Statement
UCFS is seeking an Experienced Accounting Professional to join our Finance team. This position is responsible for Supervising the Accounts Payable Department and assisting the Controller in various financial activities including the following. Prepare monthly financial statements. Prepare annual cost reports. Approve all invoices for payment prior to entry in AP Subsidiary Module. Ensure proper program and expense coding of all expenditures. Prepare all required annual audit schedules. Complete monthly AP and cash account reconciliations. Prepare and monitor budgets for small grants including submission of required reporting to funding sources. Assist with preparation of the annual budget and related accounting work.
Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years accounting experience, supervisory experience and non-profit experience preferred and/or audit experience
- Ability to examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records and to provide for the practical application of GAAP.
- Strong analytical, accounting and communication skills
- Ability to work well and interact with people, including senior management
