Managed Service System
Service Description
The Managed Service System is a consortium of DCF-funded and other provider agencies convened under the auspices of the DCF local Area Office. Its goal is to assure that services are available at the local level to meet the behavioral health and community support needs of DCF involved children and their families.
Services offered include:
- Treatment planning/clinical coordination
- Comprehensive assessment
- Coordination of discharge plan for children leaving residential care, shelters and state facilities, etc.
How to make an appointment
All referrals are made through DCF. The MSS is a process oriented system aimed at assuring that children receive the appropriate level of care at any given time, therefore the MSS is designed to follow children on an ongoing basis, depending on the child’s needs.
