Foster and Adoptive Support Team

Service Description

Foster and Adoptive Support Team (FAST) is funded by Department of Children and Families (DCF) and services the entire eastern region of the state. FAST is a home and community-based program which offers crisis intervention and support to foster and adoptive families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a period of up to 12 weeks. The goals of the program are to prevent foster care disruption and dissolutions of adoptions.

How to make an appointment

Referrals for services are made by the foster child's DCF worker of foster parents' DCF support worker. Adoptive parents can call directly to the program to self refer.
