Foster and Adoptive Support Team
Service Description
Foster and Adoptive Support Team (FAST) is funded by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and serves New London, Windham and Middlesex counties. FAST is a home and community-based program which offers crisis intervention and support to foster and adoptive families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a period of up to 12 weeks. The goal of the program is to prevent placement disruptions.
How to make an appointment
Referrals for services are made by the foster child's DCF worker of foster parents' DCF support worker.
