Assisted Living Service Agency (ALSA)
Service Description
This program is licensed by the Department of Public Health offers nursing, home health aide and homemaker services at St. Jude Common Congregate and Mystic River Homes Congregate. Services include: assistance with bathing, dressing, laundry, shopping, and medication cueing. A supervising nurse is available approximately 20 hours a week to provide nursing care and services for chronic and stable conditions. The nurse will also coordinate health promotion programs; blood pressure screening, medication instruction, flu shots and health talks.
How to make an appointment
The services are available to residents of St. Jude Common and Mystic River Homes who have one functional need- i.e., bathing, dressing, medication management. The nursing supervisor will coordinate a health assessment at no charge to you. At this time of the health assessment, the resident can express his/her needs and preferences.
