Dental Health Services
Service Description
This program offers full dental services by licensed dentists and hygienists for people of all ages from children to seniors at our Health Center. These services include cleanings, fluoride, x-rays, fillings, root canals, crowns and bridges, dentures, extractions, night guards and sports guards. Our Smiles on the Move In-School Dental Program provides services to 64 schools and programs in New London County.
The program also offers a Special Smiles Dental Operatory that provides a comfortable, calming dental suite for children with dental phobia, Autism, special needs or for children making their first visit to the dentist.

What to bring for your first visit
- Copies of records from previous dentist
- Insurance card
- Documentation of income if no insurance for participation in Sliding Fee Scale
- Social security card
Insurance Info
UCFS accepts most dental insurances. Managed care plans including state of Connecticut Medicaid, Title 19, SAGA and HUSKY. We also offer a sliding fee scale for those without dental insurance.
