Service Description

Sheltering Arms is a residential care facility for men and women 60 years of age and older which offers a less restrictive but dignified alternative for seniors who could benefit from supervised living. Residents spend their golden years in comfort enjoying companionship, home style meals, housekeeping, personal laundry services, social and recreational activities. Personal assistance with bathing and medication administration is also provided by a nurse or resident attendant who is certified to administer medications. All residents have private rooms that may be furnished with personal belongings or furnishings provided by Sheltering Arms.

What to bring for your first visit

Admission requirements include an Application, a physical examination form completed by a personal physician and an assessment by the Sheltering Arms nurse.

All of these must be completed prior to admission, however are not required for a tour or visit to our facility.

Insurance Info

The monthly fee for residing at Sheltering Arms is $3180. Additional charges apply for telephone and cable TV. Payment for residing at Sheltering Arms may be paid with private funds. For individuals whose income or assets are not sufficient to meet that need an application may be made to the Department of Social Services for funding under the State Supplement Program.
