Norwich Human Services - Haitian Relief Fund
receives $6,038 from Annual Penny Drive

On behalf of UCFS, Pam Kinder, Director of Marketing & Development and Jennifer Ermler, Coordinator of Marketing & Volunteer Services presented Bev Goulet, Norwich Human Resources Director with a check for $6,038 for the Haitian Relief Fund. The funds were raised through the Annual Penny Drive that is held in February with UCFS, the Norwich Public Schools and local businesses. The Norwich Public Schools donated their proceeds to the Haitian Health Foundation.

Chuck Seeman is presented with the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Board of Directors Special Honor Award

On February 23rd, Chuck Seeman, President/CEO of UCFS was presented with the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Board of Directors Special Honor Award for his social contribution during rough economic times. “He is a tireless supporter of access to health and human services,” chamber chairman Keith Fontaine said when presenting Chuck the award.

Jewett City Savings Bank presents check to UCFS

On November 6th, Kevin Merchant, President/CEO of Jewett City Savings Bank presented a check to Pam Kinder. The funds will be used to help offset the costs of primary care and behavioral health services for clients residing in Jewett City who are unable to pay for services.

UCFS Receives Check From Savings Institute Bank & Trust

Barry Shead, Branch Manager of Savings Institute Bank & Trust presents a $500.00 check to Pam Kinder. Each year Savings Institute Bank & Trust employees raise money to help those in need in the communities that they serve through their annual Caring & Giving Campaign.
