Counseling and Therapy

Outpatient Behavioral Health Services provide a wide range of services including individual, couple, family, and group therapy. In conjunction with therapy services we also offer psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

UCFS offers the following treatment modalities that recognize individual and family value goals, accommodate variation in cultural lifestyles and emphasize personal growth, development and situational change. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), MATCH-ADTC, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, Social Learning, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model.

How to make an appointment

Call 860-822-4900 to speak with an intake worker who will schedule an appointment for you. You may also leave a message for the intake worker to call you.

What to bring for your first visit

Insurance card or proof of income for participation in the reduced-fee program. You may bring family members or loved ones who would be supportive if you chose to include them in your treatment. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
